If you are feeling called to a War Cry Phoenix, but aren’t sure who is calling, this service is a great way to find out. With their reverse adoption, Ember will present your proposal to their fully vetted conjures and determine who is interested in stepping forward to join you.
Ember will then draft a proposal (usually 2-3 paragraphs at minimum) that goes over a brief overview of the spirit who chose you. Upon receiving the proposal, you may choose to accept or decline.
Upon accepting this invitation, Ember will finalize the spirit’s standard dossier and complete the binding to you. If you choose to decline the invitation, due to the nature of the service there will not be any do-overs. Instead you will receive 50% of the purchase price as store credit towards Ember's digital services. This is to ensure the initial time and effort spent on this service is paid for.
Please keep in mind that with a Reverse Adoption, you may end up with someone you didn't expect to be matched with, and it may not be a skillset or personality type you are used to working with. If you are less inclined to be open to an unexpected offer, consider perhaps a Custom Conjure instead. That said, if you know that a spirit is not right for you, there is absolutely zero pressure to accept them. We would rather a good match over a subpar one and want both human and spirit to be gung-ho for one another. Don't worry if you don't accept the entity; it's not the end for them! They will be listed as a preconjure to find their perfect match both on our website, tumblr, and discord community.
The approximate delivery time is 8-12 weeks. While slots are not limited, this service may be marked as unavailable if the order volume begins to impact turnaround times. If we need longer than the estimated time, we will reach out and let you know.
